Saturday, 06.06.09: Herpa - press release (German only): Herpa Übernahme perfekt! Fürst zu Leiningen übernimmt Miniaturmodellhersteller. Der Miniaturmodellhersteller Herpa hat einen neuen Eigentümer. Nach intensiven Prüfungen und Verhandlungen zwischen Andreas Fürst zu Leiningen mit den bisherigen Herpa-Eigentümern und Banken wurde der Unternehmensverkauf nun notariell vollzogen. Die VBG KG, eine Beteiligungsgesellschaft von Fürst Andreas zu Leiningen mit Sitz Amorbach, hat per 26.05.2009 die Herpa Miniaturmodelle GmbH in Dietenhofen übernommen. Die Familie Wagener ist aus dem Unternehmen und aus der Geschäftsführung ausgeschieden. Die neu strukturierte Geschäftsführung, bestehend aus Klaus Schindler für Vertrieb, Walter Wehr für Produktion und Werner Kuhn für Verwaltung, wurde eingesetzt um das Unternehmen nachhaltig mit Maßnahmen zur Effizienzsteigerung, Kostensenkung und Marktorientierung wieder auf wirtschaftlichen Erfolgskurs zu bringen. Eine besondere Herausforderung für das Unternehmen ist dabei neben der Restrukturierung derzeit auch die Wirtschaftskrise, die insbesondere Geschäftskunden von Herpa wie Automobil- und Nutzfahrzeughersteller sowie Fluglinien stark erfasst hat. Um sich den daraus resultierenden Auftragsrückgängen anzupassen und um Arbeitsplätze zu sichern ist vorübergehend auch Kurzarbeit bei Herpa notwendig geworden. Fürst Andreas zu Leiningen hat nach schwierigen Geschäftsjahren durch die vollständige Übernahme die drohende Zahlungsunfähigkeit abgewendet und Herpa wieder auf finanziell solide Beine gestellt. Die Herpa Geschäftsführung ist nach dem Wechsel zuversichtlich, mit dem hochmotivierten Herpa-Team, attraktiven Produkten der starken Marke und den begeisterten Herpa-Fans die schwierige Phase zu überwinden, und für die Zukunft gut aufgestellt zu sein.
